Ben is considered a pioneer of shed hunting dogs in Canada, in 2021 he co-founded the first non for profit shed dog dedicated club in Canada. Since 2020, Ben has trained numerous recreational and competitive shed dogs. Ben has also coached handlers to achieve goals with their dogs. Ben has refined techniques and methods that have proven effective in producing quality shed dogs for recreational or competitive purposes. Ben founded Canadian Antler Dogs as a means of providing Canadians with shed dog training products and training.
